Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
Dyer Observatory holds a special night once a month for both Boy and Girls Scouts to help fulfill badge requirements. These nights are popular and fill up quickly. The cost is $5 per person. Payment is required in advance to secure a troop's reservation. Checks may be made out to Vanderbilt University and mailed to the observatory. Scout night is held rain or shine!

A troop may also reserve a private evening at the observatory for two hours. There is a fee of $8 per person with a 30 person minimum and a 50 person maximum.
